Terms of Service: The Truth Always Around CIC
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing www.thetruthalwaysaround.uk or utilizing our community support services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. As a Community Interest Company (CIC) registered in England, our services are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
2. Our CIC Community Responsibility
Unlike a standard private company, TTAA exists to provide a Community Benefit. Our responsibilities include:
* The Asset Lock: We legally guarantee that all assets and profits are used for the community's benefit (tackling unemployment and homelessness) and cannot be distributed for private gain.
* Transparency: We are committed to providing honest, clear information regarding our impact and the allocation of our resources.
* Accountability: We report annually to the CIC Regulator to ensure we are meeting our "Community Interest Test."
3. Value of Website Services
The TTAA website is a digital gateway designed to provide:
* Resource Access: Accurate information on housing rights, employment training, and local support networks.
* Safe Communication: Secure forms for self-referral or partnership inquiries.
* Community Education: Insights and "Truths" regarding the systemic challenges of homelessness and unemployment to reduce social stigma.
4. User Conduct & Acceptable Use
To maintain a safe environment for vulnerable individuals, users agree:
* Accuracy: To provide truthful information when applying for support or registering interest.
* Respect: Not to use our platforms to harass, abuse, or discriminate against other community members or staff.
* Non-Commercial Use: The content on our website is for personal or community support use; it may not be used for commercial exploitation without written consent.
5. Limitation of Liability
While TTAA strives to provide the highest quality support:
* Information Accuracy: Website content is for general information and should not be taken as legal or professional advice.
* Third-Party Links: We may link to external charities or government bodies. TTAA is not responsible for the content or services provided by these external organizations.
* Service Availability: We aim for 24/7 website uptime but cannot guarantee it.
6. Termination of Support
TTAA reserves the right to withdraw or suspend services to any individual or organization that violates our code of conduct or uses our resources in a way that contradicts our community mission.
7. Changes to Terms
As our CIC grows, we may update these terms to better serve our community. We recommend checking this page periodically for updates.
